Wool and the Gang

Friends of the Earth is proud to partner with Wool and the Gang.

Wool and the Gang is a global fashion brand which is powered by the maker movement. Through hand-made garments produced with natural yarn it creates high quality, low impact fashion.

The Gang is all about harnessing the power in your hands – knitting your own clothes is sustainable and satisfying. The gang also believes that harnessing our collective power is critical to tackling climate change.

Climate change will only be reversed if we all make positive changes and that’s why Wool and the Gang developed Heal the Wool - a gorgeous new yarn made from 100% recycled wool. No re-dye, no extra water or energy, just a repurposing of leftovers and offcuts that would have otherwise been heading to landfill. Plus an amazing 30% of every Heal the Wool sale will be donated to Friends of the Earth.

Meet the #GreenGang

To spread the word a collection of amazing women have formed the #GreenGang. Wool and the Gang is pleased to be supporting Friends of the Earth. We want the repair, reuse, recycle mentality to become the norm and we believe that crafting one’s own garments is a perfect step on that journey.

As a business we strive to limit and reduce our environmental impact, and we are in a fortunate position where we can do more – so as much as possible we will. We hope that our support helps increase awareness of the causes of climate change and leads us all to become more considerate to the environment.
